As many of you know, yoga has been a big part of my life these past couple of years and with this pregnancy I hope to rely on this practice even more but to also achieve balance.
I tend to push myself too hard in class sometimes to achieve some poses that I cannot, and in the end I am left in a lot of pain. (The opposite of what yoga is supposed to do which is to nourish the body)
I am slowly learning that balance is maintaining and sustaining what I already know and the greatness of prenatal yoga. It is pretty essential to do some of these poses that will help during contractions and ease the pelvic floor muscles during labor. I am looking forward to a more balanced yoga practice that will hopefully carry me well into the third trimester.

Ya still doing better than me in class =) keep it up!
You’re awesome @ yoga too, what are you talking about?
Looking hot mama! You are my hero inverting with the bun in the oven.

You’re an inspiration to all of us
I’m having one of those weeks when I just need to savasana for 1 hr!!!!
I am sure you will be even more amazing when you’re turn comes around!
Yoga as you know is not a competition… and not all about the perfect pose. Check out below link for poses to avoid during pregnancy. There’s a reason why some of these poses are not good for you during certain pregnancy stages. click on the contraindications tab. Of course does not mean that you can’t do yoga… but do it differently. Listen to your body:-)
